~ Terry Pratchett

After taking a break from my self-imposed international travel moratorium, I am now back to exploring some beaches. Palawan is that long slender island off to the western edge of the Philippines. Yes, this is not in the Philippines. Yes, it is another UNESCO Heritage Site. I’m a sucker for historic conservation like that.
I’m taking the opportunity to join my old college classmate on her whirlwind Asia-Pacific tour, and this is part of her Indonesian leg. The timing couldn’t be better, as I am supposed to stop by Singapore for a conference on the way back to Manila.
Drop me a line if you want to join the fun!
